mile. ½ W of Brown’s Mill on S side of Stones River. 2 graves marked by
rocks stacked over them are Chapman Reeves and his wife who came here from Wilson County, TN and purchased 415 acres from
James Gordon which was a part of a 3,840 acre NC land grant given to Capt Munford for his service during the Revolution.
