Darrow-Nelson-Wood
The
Darrow House was built "to get out of the country" at Oakland's into town and to provide a place for frequent
and lavish entertainments. At the time, the Darrow's lived at Oakland's which was considered the country in
those days. There are fireplaces in all the rooms and five bedrooms with ceilings ten feet high.
